I just handed in my notice.
Last official day of work, 15th September, after which I’m off to Gozo for an amazing peace workshop. Then back to the UK and moving in with Nic. It’s exciting to have taken a step without knowing exactly where it will lead. Watch this space.
I’m off back to London again this evening.
Hmm. Never mind, I will be indoors.
Tonight I’m baking for La Fete De La Musique tomorrow; my work wants to supplement the music with an international buffet put on the foreign researchers at the lab. Hard to think what to make that is “traditionally British”. I know cream teas are an afternoon affair, but it just seems so right.
This photo from my Flickr page has been getting a lot of praise, I thought I’d quickly tell its story.
I moved to Rennes in early June 2006. Now seems like a good time to reflect on the experience: has it been a good year or a year in the merde?
Was at the Sunrise Celebration festival this weekend. Fab time and this bloke was definitely the most entertaining. Click through the pic to my Flickr page for more photos of him and the rest of the festival.
