Inktober 2020 #24 “DIG”

This is the first time this month I have drawn from a photo (actually a still from a video) rather than from life. It was too cold and windy to go in the garden to draw a spade and fork. And, I’ve been wanting to do one of these all month. I love the round shape of the engine hood.

I did three direct ink drawings from observation of the objects and places around me today. None of them was a TRAP as such. I’m picking this one because I like how it turned out and because it’s on a trailer which is kinda like a horse trap.

Ignoring the prompt once again; I’ve had my eye on this vehicle on the school run for a few days now and today it was parked in a good spot, too good to miss. Besides, what is an OUTPOST anyway?
